Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police say they have arrested a suspect in the July 8 robbery of the BB&T Bank at 7447 Six Forks Road.
Stephen Brent Himes, 32, of 103 Dowell Drive in Cary, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
According to state Department of Correction records, Himes was charged earlier this month with assault on a female. He was being held in Wake County Jail on that offense when he was charged Saturday in connection with the bank robbery, police said.
Himes remained in jail Saturday on a $210,000 secured bond.
His next court appearance for the bank robbery is Nov. 16. Himes is due in court for the assault charge on Dec. 1.
