print friendly

An Apex woman died Sunday night after her car wrecked north of Holly Springs.

Cynthia Ellerbee, 43, was speeding on Stevenson Road when she lost control of her vehicle shortly before 10 p.m, state troopers said. The car ran off the right side of the road and crashed into a tree.

Ellerbee’s 7-year-old son, Trevion Tillage, suffered critical injuries and was being treated at WakeMed, troopers said.

Neither Ellerbee nor her son was wearing a seatbelt, troopers said.

MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE ELLERBEE FAMILY AND I PRAY THAT TREVION RECOVERS SOON.DURING THIS TIME OF LOSS I WOULD LIKE ALL PEOPLE COMMENTING TO KNOW THAT YOU CAN KEEP YOUR SMART WORDS TO YOURSELF AND IF ANYTHING PRAY FOR THE FAMILY AND HER SON TO RECOVER. IF ANYBODY KNEW HER PERSONALLY SHE BREATHED FOR HER SON AND WAS A GOOD MOTHER...........FOR THE RECORD NOBODY IS PERFECT IN FACT WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES, BUT WHOSE TO SAY THAT GOD MADE A MISTAKE!!! WE CANT QUESTION HIS WORK AND NEITHER ONE OF US KNOWS WHEN WE ARE GOING TO LEAVE THIS EARTH. SHE HAD A HEART OF GOLD AND WOULD HELP ANYBODY WHEN SHE COULD MOST OF ALL SHE LOVED HER SON AND WOULDNT INTENTIONALLY PUT HIM IN DANGER OR HERSELF.THINGS HAPPEN AND SOMETIMES WE DONT KNOW WHY.........MAYBE ITS NOT UP TO US ONLY GOD KNOWS BEST AND HE DONT MAKE MISTAKES!!! SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED AND LOVED......R.I.P. CYNTHIA R. ELLERBEE(CYMP)YOU DONT HAVE TO SUFFER ANYMORE GOD HAS A PLACE FOR HIS ANGELS...............

I WISH THAT SOME OF YOU PEOPLE GET A LIFE BECAUSE THE POINT IS THAT SOMEONE LOST THEIR LIFE AND A CHILD IS INJURIED. KEEP YOUR SMART COMMENTS TO YOURSELF AND PRAY FOR THE CHILD AND FAMILY THROUGH THEIR TIME OF LOSS.........GET A LIFE WHILE YOU'RE AT IT!!!!!

Well you know what they say...better do what you're supposed to or one day you'll wake up dead! She should have been more responsible. I feel sorry for the child because he is suffering because of his mother. I don't, however, feel sorry for her. At 43 years old she should have known better. But then again, you never know when it's your time to go. Better be safe everytime!! Buckle up ! If you can't afford a car seat then go look on the internet or find out if there centers in your area that provide them for free.

I do pray for the family but I would like to know why the 7 year old child was not in a car seat or booster. It is the law.

REV RB....the important part of this story IS that a mother would probably still be alive and hugging her child if they had been wearing seatbelts.
