“Demetrice H." escaped from juvenile custody in Kinston.

Kinston, N.C. — The state Department of Juvenile Justice asked for help Wednesday to find an escaped juvenile detainee.

“Demetrice H." was last seen Wednesday afternoon at the Kinston Plaza Shopping Center on North Heritage Street. He was a resident of the Lenoir Youth Development Center. His home is in Cumberland County.

Anyone with information about the wherabouts of this juvenile is asked to call 911.
