Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police asked for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in the robbery of SunTrust Bank, 5135 N. New Hope Road, on Wednesday.
Police released surveillance images showing a man wearing a Cleveland Cavaliers jersey. Witnesses said he was about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighed about 200 pounds and had tattoos on both arms.
Anyone who can identify the suspect or provide information about the case is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department Detective Division at 919-996-3555 or Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919- 834-HELP.

the fear of incarceration or punishment is enough to keep you and i on the straight and narrow...but todays criminals fear nothing.
my vote is to bring back public hangings.

It was also robbed a few months ago, which resulted in the chase that ended just inside the beltline off Capital. What makes it so special? Easy exits? Helpful employees?
There is a Wachovia in the same shopping center, and a BB&T sout of there, but I don't remember seeing a story about them being robbed.
