Kenly, N.C. — Saving Grace in Wake Forest is making some of the dogs seized from Wilson County last week available for adoption.
Saving Grace has 30 animals of more than 100 that were rounded up Friday by representatives of sheriff’s office, the National Humane Society and the North Carolina State University Veterinary Hospital.
Some of those animals were found to be in good health, while others needed immediate medical attention, said Major Mickey Wilson, head of the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office's animal enforcement division. Five dogs died.
