Related StoriesRaleigh, N.C. — Police charged a woman in an overnight wreck that killed a 20-year-old woman along Raleigh Boulevard Thursday evening.
Tiara Vongel Brand was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe north on Raleigh Boulevard, near Millburnie Road, shortly before 9 p.m. A southbound Lexus, driven by Brittany Antquinique Reuben, turned in front of the Tahoe and struck it, police said. The SUV overturned, and Brand was thrown from it.
Brand was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police charged Reuben, 24, with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and unsafe movement.
Alcohol and speed were not factors in the wreck, police said.
