Henderson, N.C. — Henderson police are investigating the death of a man early Sunday.
Officers responding to a report of gunshots found Robert Newsome, 30, of 715 Highland Ave., at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Rockspring Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 1 a.m.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Henderson Police Department at 252-438-4141 or Crime Stoppers at 252-492-1925.
