Kenly, N.C. — Kenly police say someone has been prank calling residents and pretending to be an officer.
Police Chief Josh Gibson said the caller tells people that there is a warrant for their arrest.
Several residents have come to the police station to turn themselves in, he said. Others have called police to ask about the supposed warrants.
