Durham, N.C. — Authorities have determined that remains found Sunday in a wooded area near West Point on the Eno Park are those of a man.
A man flagged down a patrol officer Sunday evening and said he found remains in the woods off of North Roxboro Road.
Authorities were waiting Tuesday for dental records to confirm the man's identity.
Anyone with information about the remains is asked to call the Durham Police Department's Criminal Investigations Homicide Unit at 919-560-4440 or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.
