Authorities arrest accused Harnett flasher

John Moore/Eddie Moore, accused Harnett flasher

A 63-year-old Harnett County man who authorities said has been flashing people for years was arrested last week after allegedly exposing himself to people in a passing car.

John Edward "Eddie" Moore, of 114 Troy Parker Road in Dunn, was charged with two counts of indecent exposure.

An Erwin woman told authorities Moore exposed himself to her as she drove on U.S. Highway 301 in Dunn last Tuesday. She had two girls, ages 5 and 11, in the car at the time, according to authorities.

Authorities said Moore has been arrested three previous times on indecent exposure charges – twice in 2002 and once last year.
