Cary, N.C. — Cary police said eight reported burglaries have occurred around the Maynard Road loop area since February.
Five burglaries have occurred in the Greenwood Forest neighborhood since June 21, police said. The Greenwood Forest neighborhood is bounded by Maynard Road, Kildaire Farms Road and Walnut Street, near Cary Towne Center.
The thieves have targeted sheds, crawl spaces and homes and have taken small electronic devices and power and hand tools, police said.
A Geo Prism with California license plates was seen in the Greenwood Forest area during the most recent burglary on July 23.
