Site SearchWendell, N.C. — Wake County sheriff's deputies arrested a Wendell homeowner after shots were fired at officers Saturday night.
Residents said they heard two gunshots at Rolesville Road and Ridge Haven Drive shortly after 9 p.m. No one was injured in the shooting.
Paramedics later transported Donald Ross Gore, of 1128 Ridge Haven Drive, by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The nature of his medical condition has not been disclosed.
When he was released from the hospital, Gore was charged with two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer with a firearm. Gore was released early Sunday under a $10,000 bond.
Residents said Gore is a homeowner on Ridge Haven Drive.
