FBI, Fayetteville police probing S.C. bank robbery

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Fayetteville police have joined the investigation of a June 19 bank robbery in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

Police released surveillance photos of the bank robber Thursday. The images show a white man with brown facial hair and extensive tattoos on both forearms.

Anyone having any information on the identity and whereabouts of the man should call detectives at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in certain felony cases, and callers never have to identify themselves.

Yeah, they didn't give out the connection information. It doesn't make sense that Fayetteville would be involved unless they found something directly tied to Fayetteville.

What's the Fayetteville connection? Mt. Pleasant is just outside Charleston, that's 4 hours from Fayetteville.
