Myrtle Beach, S.C. — A Lenior man faces 10 counts of assault with intent to kill after authorities say he dragged a Myrtle Beach police officer during a traffic stop and rammed into other cars to try and get him to let go.
Jail records show Clark Tuttle, 25, remains at the Horry County Jail Sunday.
Police told The Sun News of Myrtle Beach that an officer pulled over Tuttle on Ocean Boulevard on Wednesday.
Authorities said Tuttle drove off with the officer still holding the driver's side door, then rammed four other vehicles, trying to get him away from the car.
Police said they had to shoot Tuttle with a Taser to subdue him.
John Tuttle said his son is a college student who has never been in trouble before.
