Pittsboro, N.C. — Chatham County sheriff's deputies say a Pittsboro man assaulted another man after finding him in his girlfriend's hot tub.
Curtis Johnson, 31, of 926 North Pea Ridge Road, is accused of assaulting Gregory McBride of Pittsboro. During the assault, McBride sustained serious injuries to his head and face, deputies said.
Johnson was arrested Monday and charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury and simple assault. He was being held in the Chatham County Jail under a $25,000 bond.
