Raleigh police charged the treasurer of a Raleigh rotary club with embezzlement Wednesday.
An arrest warrant alleges that Paul Joseph Stafford, 41, of 1511 Sunday Drive, stole almost $60,000 from Rotary of the Capital City between October 2006 and June 2008.
Stafford was being held in the Wake County jail on $20,000 bond.
