Moncure, N.C. — Chatham County sheriff's deputies arrested a Moncure couple Friday after a fight at New Hope Mobile Home Park.
Amy Lee Brown, 27, and her husband, James Anthony Brown, 25, both of 11 DOT Street, were arguing with Kevin Tyrone Crump of Wimberly Road when someone hit Crump in the head with a bottle, authorities said.
Deputy Stephen Cook arrested Amy Brown, charging her with felonious assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and simple assault. She was being held in Chatham County jail under $1,000 secured bond.
Cook arrested James Brown on a charge of simple assault. He was released on $1,000 bond.
Crump was taken to to Central Carolina Hospital.
