Micro, N.C. — A 35-year-old man died Saturday after being hit by a train in downtown Micro, Johnston County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Tammy Amaon said.
Joe Miller, of Micro, was lying on the tracks, located across Field and Railroad streets, when a train hit him around 2:30 a.m.
Miller died on the way to the hospital, Amaon said.
