Micro, N.C. — Three people were injured Tuesday night in a collision in Micro.
A person driving a Toyota south on U.S. Highway 301 swerved near the intersection with Wilson Street and, in over-correcting, hit a Ford pickup truck, Police Chief Stacy Brown said. The driver and two passengers in the Toyota were transported to Wake Med in Raleigh. None of the occupants of the truck were injured.
WakeMed reported that the two passengers, both children, were in serious but stable condition on Wednesday. Police did not release the names of any of the injured parties.
The driver of the Toyota was charged with felony serious injury by vehicle, driving with a revoked license and careless and reckless driving.
