Two Camp Lejeune Marines have been indicted in the July slaying of an Army nurse.

A grand jury indicted Cpl. John Wimunc, 23, on charges of first-degree murder, second-degree arson and conspiracy to commit arson. The grand jury also indicted Lance Cpl. Kyle Alden, 22, on charges of being an accessory after the fact of a felony, second-degree arson and conspiracy to commit arson.

The charges are in connection with the death of Army 2nd Lt. Holley Wimunc, 24, whose burned remains were found July 13, 2008, in a shallow grave in a wooded area near Camp Lejeune.

Holley Wimunc's apartment in Fayetteville was found ablaze three days earlier, and she was nowhere to be found.

An autopsy determined that the maternity-ward nurse at Fort Bragg's Womack Army Medical Center had been shot and dismembered before her remains were burned and wrapped in an air mattress.

These men need to be prosecuted to the fullest of the law. To murder someone and cut them up is horrible. He could have left his wife if he did not want to be with her.
