Durham, N.C. — Durham police charged Javon Alexander Randolph, 18, of 1617-A Fayetteville St., with murder Wednesday in the shooting death of a man found in the street April 5.
Police arrested Randolph Wednesday morning. They said he shot Garba Gajam Mohammed, 41, of Raleigh. Mohammed died at Duke University Hospital after being found on the side of the road at 610 Troy St.
Randolph was placed in Durham County Jail without bond.
