An arrest was made late Sunday in connection with a fatal shooting at 5505 Devils Racetrack Road, southwest of Four Oaks, according to the Johnston County Sheriff's Office.

Spokeswoman Tammy Amaon said that deputies cleared the scene after getting 911 calls about a disturbance around 8 p.m. Saturday. About an hour later, a 911 caller reported hearing gun shots in the area.

Deputies found a shooting victim, Clevon Jerrell Stewart, 22, at Devils Racetrack Road and Interstate 95, Amaon said. Stewart was transported to WakeMed, where he was pronounced dead.

Amaon said deputies arrested Brandon Keith Sims, 17, of Four Oaks. He was being questioned Sunday evening and will be charged with first-degree murder, Amaon said.

An arrest warrant was also issued for Drew Edward Fuller, 18, of 5505 Devil’s Racetrack Road. He is also expected to be charged with first-degree murder, Amaon said.

Fuller is thought to be driving a silver-colored 1997 Dodge Avenger with N.C. license plate #XRL-5758, Amaon said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Johnston County Sheriff's Office at 919-989-5000.
