Onslow County, N.C. — State troopers are investigating a wreck that killed Christopher Michael Steiner, 21, on Sunday. Steiner was a member of the Nine Mile volunteer fire department.
Steiner was traveling about 90 mph in a 55 mph zone on Nine Mile Road when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed, Sgt. M.W. King with the state Highway Patrol said.
The Onslow County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Steiner died of blunt force trauma to the head.
