Garner, N.C. — A 42-year-old woman died and her 49-year-old husband was uninjured in a motorcycle crash Sunday night after celebrating her birthday at a friend's house.
Speed was a factor in the crash that killed Cheryl Ann Pickron, authorities said. Neither she nor her husband, Michael Gordon Pickron, were wearing a helmet when they crashed at 7712 Trudy Lane, troopers said.
Cheryl Ann Pickron was driving the motorcycle with a suspended license, officials said. She drove off the right side of the road, hit a mailbox and then a culvert, authorities said. She died at the scene.

Of course it is. But the same logic applies. Lives could be saved. How safe do we want to be?

I just read what the n&o printed. The N&O said he went to ER, WRAL said he didn't. Wral said speed was a factor and the N&O said alcohol was a factor.
All the details aren't out and I'm sorry if I make anyone mad, but this should be checkout then details released. Not rush to get the story out.
