print friendly

A teen from McGee's Crossroads died Monday morning of injuries suffered Sunday when his minibike collided with a pickup truck.

Brandon Spence, 14, was riding his bike just before 3 p.m. Sunday on N.C. Highway 59 near South Pleasant Coates Road when he swerved into the path of the truck, troopers said.

The teen was taken to WakeMed. The driver of the truck, Jerry Johnson, 52, was unhurt. Troopers did not expect to charge anyone in the incident.

Your ridiculous statement is unproveable and therefore meaningless.

Maybe for yourself ...but not to others out there.

No problem, Skywatch_NC. I'm glad you acquiesce. Your ridiculous statement is unproveable and therefore meaningless. It's the right thing to drop it.

I respectfully realize that prayer isn't for everyone in their life and that is okay.

Brandon has been riding ATV's and dirt bikes since he could walk, his parent have always bought and instilled safety while riding. Whether or not this teenage boy was wearing the proper safety equiptment was not a product of his parent not providing it or encouraging it. he was a 14 year old boy and having a boy the same age I know they dont always take our advice and we cannot keep watch 24/7 as much as we would like too when they get to this age.

Skywatch_NC, prove it. - hereandnow

I'm not even going to start debating/arguing about prayer here at this topic.

Have a good day.
