Raleigh, N.C. — Police said a man was stabbed in southeast Raleigh early Sunday while fighting with a man he had quarreled with earlier at a birthday party.
Investigators said the two men got into an altercation at a party in north Raleigh earlier in the evening. They agreed to meet on Sunny Cove Drive, a vacant street in an unfinished subdivision off Sunnybrook Drive in southeast Raleigh.
The second confrontation occurred around 2 a.m. and led to the stabbing, police said.
The stabbing victim was listed in stable condition at WakeMed Sunday morning.
Police have not released the names of those involved in the stabbing.
