Durham, N.C. — A Durham man drove himself to the hospital after being shot multiple times early Saturday, police said.
Mario Upchurch, 26, was attacked in a parking lot at 901 Fayetteville St. around 2:30 a.m., police said. Upchurch then took himself to Duke University Hospital, where he was listed in serious but stable condition.
Police were investigating the case as aggravated assault.
