Raleigh, N.C. — Authorities have arrested a suspect in the April 8 death of 21-year-old Calvin Eric Dae Jr.
Chandler “Chant” Cooley-Davis Avery was taken into custody on Friday, Raleigh Police Department spokesman Jim Sughrue said. Avery is charged with murder.
Dae was found dead inside of a wrecked vehicle in the 7200 block of Parott Drive in northeast Raleigh.
The investigation is ongoing.
