Louisburg, N.C. — A Zebulon man has been sentenced to life in prison after a jury found him guilty of killing his ex-wife more than two years ago.
Jurors deliberated over two days before finding Robert Pastuer guilty on Monday of murder in the death of Narskelsky Angelean Pastuer, 52, of Zebulon.
Narskelsky Pastuer's body was found in the trunk of her car off U.S. Highway 1 near Franklinton on Dec. 7, 2006. Her daughter had reported her missing a month earlier.
A mistrial was declared in Robert Pastuer's first murder trial last September after jurors couldn't reach a verdict.
