Clayton, N.C. — A driver is charged in a two vehicle wreck Saturday at the intersection of Government and Dorothy roads, the Johnston County Highway Patrol said.
Sandra Nichols Raines, 52, of Clayton, has been charged with driving left of center after her vehicle collided head-on with a truck driven by 37-year-old Steven Arthur Blair, also of Clayton.
Blair’s 14-year-old son was a passenger in the truck. All three were taken to WakeMed Hospital.
Raines was listed in fair condition Sunday. Blair and his son were in good condition.

BTW, when did Johnston County get a "Highway Patrol"? If they belong to Steve Bissell, wouldn't they be Deputy Sheriffs? Maybe the writer covering the police beat knows little about what they write and meant NC State Highway Patrol.
