Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police interviewed several people about a shooting Wednesday night that left a man with serious injuries.
Officers said they received a “shots fired” call around 8:15 p.m. in the 600 block of Grantland Drive. Officers couldn’t find anything there, so they cleared the call.
About 15 minutes later, a driver saw a man with a gunshot wound and drove him to WakeMed where he was treated for serious injuries, according to police. Authorities declined to release the victim’s name.
Officers said they put the two incidents together and went back to Grantland Drive where they found shell casings. No other information was released.
