Selma, N.C. — Three students were shaken up but none seriously injured Wednesday afternoon when a Johnston County school bus collided with a car at the intersection of N.C. highways 39 and 42 in Selma.
The bus was returning 29 students to Glendale-Kenly Elementary School after a field trip to the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, Terri Sessoms, public information officer for Johnston County schools said.
Sessoms said the driver of the car failed to stop at the intersection and ran into the side of the bus.
The driver of the car was not identified.
