Raleigh, N.C. — Over-steering was to blame for a crash on Interstate 40 near Wade Avenue early Wednesday that left a woman dead, according to Highway Patrol officials.
Sarah Marea Lang, 21, of Hope Mills, drove off the road to the left, lost control, overturned her SUV and was ejected around 12:55 a.m., according to Trooper Delcastilho.
Earlier Wednesday, authorities said they thought speed might have been a factor in the crash. However, they later determined that was not the case.
