Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh group protested President Obama’s stimulus plan and mortgage bailout during a rally at the state Capitol on Saturday.
The non-partisan group called the event the “New American Tea Party.”
“We do not believe Washington should reward failure,” organizer Daniel Martinez said in a release.
Several hundred people attended the event. Another rally is planned on April 15, Martinez said.
