Raleigh, N.C. — With Saturday forecast to be cold and rainy, organizers have postponed Raleigh's St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival until Saturday, March 21.
The parade is the second-largest in the Southeast and boasts more than 4,000 marchers. N.C. State's football Head Coach Tom O'Brien will be the grand marshal.
Following the parade, a festival will be held in Moore Square, featuring Irish-influenced music, parachuters, Celtic wares and children's activities.
Attendees are encouraged to bring canned food to donate to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
