Site SearchRaleigh, N.C. — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man.
People are asked to be on the lookout for Lane Eric Clark, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. He was reported missing from 3612 Carolyn Drive in Raleigh.
Clark, 20, is an African American man with short black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 215 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red long-sleeved T-shirt, khaki colored pants and utility boots.
Anyone with information about Clark should call B. D. Cathey at the Raleigh Police Department at 919-996-1316.
Developed in 2007, Silver Alert is a system to quickly notify the public about missing, endangered adults who suffer from dementia or other cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's disease.
It also allows caregivers and nursing homes to report a person missing. In the past, only a family member could report an adult missing.
