Ah, selective patriotism.

"At the very least, the Obama's could have shown propper respect to the British Prime Minister instead of insulting him with a gift basket of CD's and no official state dinner (as is customary when an allied leader visits)." - Worland

First people cry about the money that is being spent on offical dinners/parties that the Obama's have been hosting, now people cry because someone didn't get a dinner. I'm not Obama's biggest supporter, but dang, he can't seem to catch a break with some people.

This is America you're acting like this is the first time we have insulted someone. We've done that to whole countries so who is a prime minister.

True...but it isn't often the President insults a long-time ally.

Hockey Rules,

I hate hockey but you know you're making good since. Keep posting on all fronts no matter what people say.

"for the first time in my adult life, I'm not proud of my First Lady"

And she is going there to meet with spouses of the military and speak to the agencies that provide service and support to the military. Why would you find that a bad thing? I mean, you run around talking about what how "patriotic" people need to do, how folks should support the troops. She is doing exactly that and you criticize. Maybe you aren't that patriotic after all. Guess you practice selective patriotism. Interesting.
