Raleigh, N.C. — A patrol cruiser crashed into a home at 8041 Satillo Lane in north Raleigh around 11 p.m. Saturday, Raleigh police said.
Cpl. D.L. Bond was behind the wheel when the crash occurred, police said. Bond was treated and released from a local hospital.
Occupants of the house were evacuated after a gas line started to leak.
Police were still looking into the cause of a crash but said that Bond was not involved in a chase at the time of the crash.
