Four sought in Durham teen's murder

Durham police are looking for four men charged with the murder of Alejandro Emir Denis-Terron, 17, on Feb. 26.

Denis-Terron was standing in the yard at 119 Herbert St. when he was shot and killed, police said.

Police arrested one man in the case Sunday, Erick Calderon, 17, 4001 Meriwether Drive, Apartment C-1. He was charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and was being held in the Durham County Jail without bond.

Still wanted in the case are:

  • Carlos “Carlitos” Mendoza, 16, of Hoover Road and Belmont Street
  • Ricardo Cruz Perez, 20, of East Lavender Street
  • Rodrigo “Morro” Villegas, 19, of North Hoover Road
  • Jose Martin “Pepe” Luviano, 16, of Ruby Ridge Road and Ivy Street.

All face charges of murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
