Fayetteville, N.C. — A Fort Bragg soldier was arrested on Thursday for felony child abuse, Fayetteville Police said.
Luis Ruben RodriguezValle, 38, of the 800 block of Cherry Laurel Drive, was released on $10,000 bond, according to Theresa Chance, a police spokeswoman.
According to the warrant for his arrest, RodriguezValle shook his infant son hard enough on Feb. 7 to cause bleeding and bruising in his brain and behind his eyes. The child is 27 days old.
