Wilson, N.C. — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert for a missing Wilson man Thursday afternoon, several hours after it was issued.
Shawn Lamont Smith, 39, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Authorities did not release any information about how he was found.
