Durham, N.C. — A Data bus caught fire on NC-55 southbound near the Interstate 40 overpass Saturday evening, dispatchers confirmed.
There was no word on what caused the fire, which was reported around 7:50 p.m. All passengers were transferred to another bus and no injuries were reported.
The road was closed while firefighters extinguished the blaze.
