Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police arrested two 17-year-old men accused of stealing more than $100, pizza and chicken wings from a pizza delivery driver last week.
Taquan Nix and Bevvon Daevonte Ormond Heyward used a weapon to rob delivery driver Jamel Weldon at a Raleigh Pines Drive home around 9:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, according to the arrest warrants. The robbers made off with $102, four large pizzas and four orders of chicken wings.
Weldon worked for the Domino's Pizza store on South Saunders Street, Raleigh Police spokesman Jim Sughrue said.
Police arrested Nix and Heyward Friday on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon. They were being held in the Wake County Jail under separate $50,000 bonds Saturday.
