Fayetteville, N.C. — A 19-year-old Fayetteville man faces more than 130 sex charges involving minors after police closed a two-month-long investigation Friday.
Bryan Scott DeJarlais, of Rembrandt Drive faces 133 charges, including multiple counts of first-degree rape, first-degree statutory sexual offense and taking indecent liberties with a minor.
DeJarlais was arrested Dec. 29, 2008, for allegedly sexually assaulting two female juveniles. He has since remained in the Cumberland County Detention Center.
Detective Judy Rosenberg, of the Fayetteville Police Department's Youth Services Division, continued the investigation into DeJarlais and filed more charges against him Friday afternoon.
His bail was raised to $9.105 million.
