Raleigh, N.C. — Court records show that Trevor Worsley, 34, was convicted June 9 for robbing a Subway in Raleigh.
Investigators said Worsley walked into the restaurant at 220 E. Martin St. around 8 p.m. May 16. He implied that he had a weapon and demanded that employees gave him money.
Worsley fled on foot, but citizens helped police by pointing out which way he was going.
Officers recovered all of the money when Worsley was apprehended.
Worsley was convicted of larceny from a person.
It was his third such offense in Wake County. Criminal records show that Worsley served five years in jail for an armed robbery committed on July 21, 2000, in Wake County, according to Department of Correction records. He was released in August 2005.
Worsley was convicted of larceny in Wake County in December 2006 and sentenced to 36 months of probation.
