Raleigh police arrest bank robbery suspect

Raleigh police quickly solved a robbery at First Citizens Bank, 2005 Clark Ave., Thursday.

A man entered the bank and demanded money just after 11:30 a.m., police spokesman Jim Sughrue said. Responding officers searched the area around the bank and detained the suspect at 12 Enterprise St.

They charged Charles S. Lewis, 48, with robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was taken to the Wake County jail.

they did catch him. at 12 enterprise street. i think he was hiding in the laundry room. covered with dye.

Strange. The tellers at my bank in Cameron Village said they caught the guy that did it a few blocks away with dye all over him from stolen money bag.

Oh, and BTW...They ALWAYS have more than one teller, and several other customer service associates at the branch. They might not all be there handling customers at the teller windows, but they are there.

I'm confused as to why this article doesnt include a picture from the bank's security camera, there has to be one.

Photo's would be nice, if they got any.
