Fayetteville, N.C. — A hit-and-run wreck killed a man who was walking along Cliffdale Road shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday, Fayetteville police said.
Witnesses told police that a silver SUV or minivan struck the victim, identified as Corey Fullwood, near Landsdowne Road and then drove off.
Fullwood was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Anyone with information about the wreck was asked to call the Police's Traffic Unit at 910-433-1036 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477).
