Fayetteville, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies were investigating a melee that injured two people Wednesday evening.
Deputies were called to 839 Dunn Road shortly before 7 p.m. after gunfire was reported. Two people, who names were withheld, suffered gunshot wounds to the upper body, deputies said.
Paramedics transported the victims by ambulance to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. There conditions were not immediately known.
