A man pleaded guilty Tuesday to killing a woman and wounding three other people, including a toddler, in a home invasion six years ago, authorities said.

Richard Terry pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to 24 to 31 years in prison.

Terry was one of three men who burst into a Markham Avenue apartment in June 2003 and opened fire. Police said the men were trying to settle a drug debt.

Colette Moss was killed in the incident, a 2-year-old lost an eye, and two other women were wounded.

Cousins Brian Keith Hargrove and Dennis Lamonte Hargrove pleaded guilty in 2006 to second-degree murder in the case and agreed to testify against Terry. Their sentencings were delayed until after Terry's case was completed.

Brian Hargrove was sentenced Tuesday to at least 10 years in prison. Dennis Hargrove was sentenced to at least 13 years in prison.

Keep in mind that felons usually spend about have of their sentences in jail and the other half on probation. They will probably kill again.
