Southern Pines, N.C. — U.S. Highway 1 southbound was closed in Southern Pines at Air Tool Drive for more than an hour, a police spokeswoman said.
Northbound traffic on the road was reduced to one lane while Southern Pines Police and the N.C. State Highway Patrol investigated a wreck.
All lanes were re-opened and flowing smoothly by 3:30 p.m., police said.
